Resta: A young woman who uses the camera as an organ of expression. Life expresses itself through people's struggles, hopes, and difficulties. She takes time to freeze these moments into beautiful images. She uses the camera as a tool for social commentary, to communicate issues that we normally take for granted yet they are important in our quest for better life for all of us. She focuses on the conditions and needs of society while also displaying her creative prowess through unique angles, light, texture, colour, and aesthetics to feed the eye.

She holds a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Creative Art and Design, in which she specialised in photography. She has worked as a photojournalist. She is born and bred in Zimbabwe and therefore has a unique understanding of the situation in her motherland. She gets a lot of inspiration from the ordinary life of people around her, things that happen in her space and everyday natural scenes. In this photographic exhibition she tells a different story of the world around her in Zimbabwe, through her powerful photography.
